Message to Donors

To all our supporters, donors, volunteers, and friends,

As we share the news that As Darragh Did will be formally winding up, I wanted to speak directly to you, the people who made everything possible.
Since 2020, your kindness and generosity helped turn three deeply personal projects into something meaningful for others. Conor Clips, Snowman for Carla, and As Darragh Did were each created in memory of Conor, Darragh, and Carla, and each served a purpose at a time when purpose was desperately needed.
As Darragh Did, in particular, became something bigger than I ever imagined. The charity supported three hundred community projects across Ireland with funds in excess of half a million euros. This helped many small community organisations to make real differences in people’s lives. That impact belongs to you as much as anyone. Your donations, encouragement, time, and belief carried this work forward at every step.
In the early days, support often came in small but powerful ways, messages, conversations, shared stories, and quiet acts of kindness. Over time, those moments became a community of people determined to help others in Darragh’s name. That compassion and solidarity will never be forgotten by me.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the memory of Conor, Darragh, and Carla continues to guide what comes next. The time now feels right to move forward and bring them together again through a single, collective project. I hope to share more about that with you in the near future.
Thank you for your support to me on this road. Thank you for believing in the importance of community. And thank you for helping transform loss into something that helped others.
With sincere gratitude,
Andrew
